Terms of Service (User Agreement)

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lethal Extraction mobile game and website (collectively, the “Services”). By installing, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

• The Game is intended for players aged 17+. By playing, you confirm you meet this requirement or have parental/guardian permission.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials and for activities under your account/device.

2. License & Ownership

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play the Game. You may create, stream, capture, and share gameplay content (such as screenshots, videos, and livestreams), including for commercial purposes (e.g., monetized streams, ad-supported videos), provided that such use:
(a) is not misleading, illegal, or offensive,
(b) does not involve selling the Game itself or derivative works of its assets (art, music, code, etc.),
(c) complies with these Terms and applicable laws.

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Services (including software, artwork, assets, and trademarks) remain with the developer.

3. Online Features

• Multiplayer Co-op: requires an internet connection.
• Player-Created Sessions ("Servers"): all online sessions in the Game are created and managed by players using Unity’s networking services. Sessions may persist beyond a single match. We do not operate, monitor, or moderate these sessions and are not responsible for player conduct or content within them. By joining a session, you accept the risks associated with interacting with other players.
• Voice Chat: provided via Vivox; your communications are transmitted live to other players. Do not share personal information.
• Player-Created/Hosted Servers: server hosts may set and enforce their own rules. We are not responsible for third-party server content or moderation.
• Advertisements: the Game may display in-game ads, including third-party ads.

3A. Player Responsibility & Third-Party Servers

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other players and for any content or conduct on player-hosted servers. We do not pre-screen, monitor, or endorse player-hosted servers or communications, and we are not responsible for any disputes, harm, or damages arising from them. Server hosts may set their own rules and may choose to moderate their sessions, such as removing players between matches. We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to take action (including account restrictions or bans) against misconduct that occurs within the Game.

3B. Sharing Personal Information

For your own safety, you should not share personal data (such as your real name, address, phone number, payment information, or account credentials) through in-game chat, servers, or other features. The developer does not request or require such information within the Game, and we are not responsible for any consequences resulting from players voluntarily disclosing their own personal data to others.

4. Code of Conduct

• No harassment, hate speech, obscene content, or threats.
• No cheating, exploiting, automation, hacking, or attempts to disrupt others.
• Follow server rules and applicable laws. We may moderate or restrict access at our discretion.

5. User-Generated Content

If you submit or share content (e.g., usernames, server descriptions), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, modify, and display that content as necessary to operate and improve the Services. You represent you have the rights to such content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

6. Updates & Availability

We may provide patches or updates required to continue use. We may modify or discontinue all or part of the Services at any time.

7. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service; use of player-hosted servers and third-party ads is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of the Services, player interactions (including voice chat), third-party servers, or advertisements.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time for violations of these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

Mandatory consumer protection laws of your place of residence apply where required. Otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Italy and the courts of Venice, Italy shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be effective upon posting as indicated by the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use constitutes acceptance.
